Congratulations to the Alabama Crimson Tide for their 42 - 14 victory over the
Auburn Tigers in the 2011 Iron Bowl held at Jordane-Hare Stadium.

After starting the game with a couple of senseless penalties, the Alabama Crimson Tide dominated the 2011 Iron Bowl. The domination was shared on both Offense, and Defense for the Tide. The Tide's defense held Auburn to a only 140 total offensive yards (78 rushing, 62 passing), while the Tide's offense racked up 397 yards (213 rushing, 184 passing) against the Tiger defense.
Although the Aubrun Tigers managed to put up 14 points against the Alabama Crimson Tide, it was actually the Tide's own mistakes that enabled Auburn to earn the two touchdowns. The first mistake was a fumble inside the 5 yard line by A.J. McCarron that was recovered in the endzone by Auburn. The second was a returned kick-off by Auburn to start the second half.
A. J. McCarron, even though he had a fumble that was recovered for a touchdown, had an amazing game against Auburn. He went 18 of 23 for 184 yards, and had 3 TD's. Alabama's offensive line only allowed him to be sacked once.
Trent Richardson had a record breaking game with 27 carries for 203 yards, and 1 reception for a 5 yard TD.
Just a quick note I found to be quite humerous; Auburn's top offensive player for the game was Onterio McCalebb who carried the ball 5 time for a total of 6 yards, and had 2 receptions for a total of 17 yards. Mind blowing statistics here ladies and gentlemen.
Offense
A.J. McCarron completed 18 of 23 for 184 yards, and 3 TD's.
Trent Richardson had 27 carries for 203 yards, 1 reception for 5 yards, and 1 TD.
Jalston Fowler had 1 carry for 15 yards, and 1 TD.
Brad Smelley had 6 receptions for 86 yards, and 1 TD.
Kenny Bell had 2 receptions for 46 yards, and 1 TD.
Marquis Maze had 4 receptions for 18 yards.
Brandon Gibson had 2 receptions for 13 yards.
Michael Williams had 2 receptions for 12 yards.
Eddie Lacy had 4 carries for 6 yards, and 1 receptiong for 4 yards.
Jeremy Shelley attempted, and made two field goals. The longest being 30 yards.
Defense
Donte Hightower had 6 tackles, and 3 assists.
DeMarcus Milliner had 4 tackles, 2 assists, and 1 interception which he returned 35 yards for a TD.
Vinnie Sunseri had 4 tackles, and 2 assists.
C.J. Mosely ha 2 tackles, and 4 assists.
Courtney Upshaw had 4 tackles, 1 assist, and 1 sack for a loss of 6 yards.
Robert Lester had 4 tackles.
Damion Square had 1 tackle, 3 assists, and 1 sack for a loss of 5 yards.
Ed Stinson had 1 tackle, and 1 forced fumble.
N. Johnson, A. Watkins, and Q. Dial each had 2 tackles.
J. Chapman, D. White, J. Harris, C. Foster, and M. Barron each had 1 tackle.
The Tide will have to wait it out for two weeks to see if the final BCS Standings fall in their favor. It is quite clear that the Alabama Crimson Tide deserves another shot at LSU in the National Championship Game. Let's just hope that Oklahoma can beat Oklahoma State so that there is no possible chance for Alabama to be bumped out of the running for an epic rematch in the title game.

Congratualtions to the Alabama Crimson Tide for their 45 - 21 victory over Georgia Southern!
Do you beleive that everything happens for a reason?

I believe the Bear was watching over the Alabama Nation throughout this weekend of college football.
With upset losses by Oregon to USC, Oklahoma to Baylor, and Oklahoma State to Iowa State, the Alabama Crimson Tide will be ranked #2 in the BCS Standings going into the Iron Bowl on Saturday, November 26th.
On Sunday, November 21st, when the new BCS Rankings are released, the top 3 teams in the country will be from the SEC West.
1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Arkansas
Alabama has a tough matchup agaist Auburn next week, but do not forget to cheer for the Arkansas Razorbacks. If they beat LSU on Friday, it is very possible that Alabama will goto the SEC Championship against Georgia.
Isn't it great to be an Alabama Crimson Tide fan?

Congratulations to the Alabama Crimson Tide for their 37 - 6 victory of the Tennessee Vols!

After an extremely slow first half, Coach Nick Saban instilled the heart of the Alabama Nation into the Tide players, and they came out with a much higher level of intensty, and passion after half time. Congratulations to the Alabama Crimson Tide for their 34 - 0 Homecoming victory over Vanderbilt!

Facing a very determined Vanderbilt team which forced Alabama to two 3-and-out's in their first two possessions, the Crimson Tide led by A.J. McCarron pulled through the first quarter without being scored on thanks to two missed field goals by Vanderbilt. Alabama went on to finish the half 14 - 0 with only 46 yards rushing, and 143 yards passing. Coach Saban said at the half time that his players needed to get focused, and stop making mental mistakes. I'm sure he politely requested this during half-time.
Once the third quarter began the Tide had a noticeably different enthusiasm, and motivation to play good Alabama football. In the third quarter Alabama dominated the game scoring another 13 points, and holding Vanderbilt to 0 yards rushing, and only 19 yards passing. The Tide continued to dominate into the fourth quarter holding Vanderbilt to just 16 yards rushing, and 13 yards passing. Alabama only allowed one 1st down in each of the third, and fourth quarters, and forced two turnovers in the fourth quarter.
A.J. McCarron stepped up in this game, and showed the nation that he is more than just a "game manager." McCarron went 23 of 30 for a career high 237 yards, 4 touchdowns, and zero turnovers.

Trent Richardson had a bit of a slow start in the first half, but finished the game with 19 carries for 107 yards rushing, and had a touchdown - averaging 5.6 yards per carry.

Jalston Fowler, the third string back covering for an injured Eddie Lacy, had an impressive evening carrying the ball 13 times for 58 yards rushing - an average of 4.5 yards per carry. More proof that the Alabama Crimson Tide will be stacked in talent for years to come. Speaking of talent for years to come...

Freshman DeAndrew White had 2 amazing catches for touchdowns. White is definately someone to keep an eye out for in the future. He is a perfect example of how successful Nick Saban's recruitment really is.

Congratulations to the Alabama Crimson Tide for their 38 - 10 win over #12 Florida!

With a shaky start featuring a botched kickoff followed by a single pass play resulting in a momentum boosting touchdown for the Florida Gators, the Alabama Crimson Tide only took a few minutes to settle in, adjust, reverse that momentum, and completely dominate the rest of the game.
The predicted point spread for this game was only 3 points, and in enemy territory, Alabama proved once again why it is one of the best teams in the nation, if not THE best. The Crimson Tide defense held Florida to just 222 total yards, including just 15 yards rushing. After scoring the early touchdown, and a field goal early in the first quarter, Florida was unable to score for the rest of the game.
Unfortunately, with just under 2 minutes left in the first half, a sack by Courtney Upshaw resulted in Florida Quarterback John Brantley landing oddly on his right foot, and twisting his leg. He was taken out of the game, and did not return. We wish him the best of luck, and hope he has a 100% healthy recovery.
Trent Richardson once again proved that he is a top runner in the Heisman chase this year. Richardson carried the ball 29 times for a total of 181 yards, had 2 receptions for a total of 27 yards, and 2 touchdowns. Saban threw Richardson in the wildcat formation late in the game just to show upcoming opponents that we aren't a one trick pony.
The play of the game came in the second quarter when under pressure, Florida QB threw an interception to Alabama linebacker Courtney Upshaw who ran 45 yards for a defensive touchdown.
Offense
A.J. McCarron went 12 of 25 for 140 yards, and carried the ball 1 yard for a TD.
Trent Richardson had 29 carries for 181 yards, 2 receptions for 27 yards, and 2 TD's.
Eddie Lacy had 5 carries for 32 yards, and 1 TD.

including one for 70 yards.

Congratulations to the Alabama Crimson Tide for their 27 - 11 win over Penn State!

Looking like a natural leader in the making, AJ McCarron led the No. 3 Alabama Crimson Tide to victory over the No. 23 Nittany Lions at Beaver Stadium in front of a record breaking crowd.
On fourth-and-a-couple-of-feet, Alabama's Brad Smelley ran with the ball in a fake punt which he earned the first down by only a matter of a couple of inches. About the play, Saban later said "We weren't doing much offensively. We needed to change the momentum."
With the fake punt being successful, the Tide gained a very noticable momentum, and quickly stormed down the field for a touch down in just four plays.
McCarron finished 19 of 31 with zero turn overs, 163 yards passing, and 1 TD.
Marquis Maze had 4 receptions for 42 yards.
Michael Williams had 3 receptions for 34 yards, and 1 TD.
Trent Richardson carried the ball 26 times for 111 yards, and had 2 TD's.
Leading the Crimson Tide Defense, Dre Kirkpatrick, and Robert Lester helped hold Penn State to 251 total yards for the entirety of the game, only allowing 1 TD, 1 field goal, and 1 2-point conversion.
